The ACT and AP College Board may require additional documentation for ELL (English Language Learner) or 504 accommodations above what records the school may release to them. A student can earn a Seal of Biliteracy on their transcript and diploma if they demonstrate they are proficient in English and a second language and complete the Seal of Biliteracy application.
Students can demonstrate their proficiency by taking an assessment called the STAMP Assessment. To sign up for the STAMP test, contact the Davis School District Test Center (801) 402-5385. We also offer it through our language teachers during April. Please speak with your language teacher about the details if you are interested.
Students can apply for the Seal of Biliteracy by clicking and downloading the document below. You may complete it electronically or print it and complete it by hand. Once the application is finished, please submit it to your school counselor.
