Fall Registration Steps (Required)

In order for your child to be registered for the new school year, all five steps MUST be completed. 

Your child will NOT be able to view their schedule until all five have been completed.


Registration Steps

STEP 1: Pay Fees

Complete ONE of the following fee payment options:

  • Option 1: Pay your fees online
  •  Option 2: Turn in a Payment Plan Contract (requires a 25% down payment [$22]) 
    • Fill out a Payment Plan Contract and return it and the 25% down payment to the Main Office.
    • NOTE: Your child's schedule will not be released until the form is returned to the office and the 25% initial payment is made.
  •  Option 3: Fill out a Fee Waiver Application 

** A $10.00 late registration fee will be added after August 9, 2019.

STEP 2: Fill out Student Information Form

Print, update and sign the Student Information Form and return it to the Main Office.


  • Log on to myDSD. This will take you to the "Student Information System."
  • Click on your student attending SHS.
  • Click on the "Academics" tab on the top of the page and select "Reports" from the drop-down menu.
  • Under the "Student Information" heading, click on the "Student Information Form".
  • Print, update, and sign the "Student Information Form" and return it to the school.

**This must be done even if there are no changes in your information.**

STEP 3: Online Policy Acceptance

Review and accept the SHS policies online through myDSD.


  1. Log on to myDSD. This will take you to the "Student Information System."
  2. Click on the "Tools" tab on the top of the page and select "Sign Documents" from the drop-down menu.
  3. Review each policy and click the green "Accept" button.

**Note, this must be done online.  The SHS computer labs will be available on TBA.**

STEP 4: Fill out McKinney-Vento Form (If Applicable)

Download the McKinney- Vento forms and click submit at the top when finished (You may SKIP this step if you DO NOT fit the criteria listed below).

If your family lives in any of the following situations:

  • In a shelter, motel, vehicle, or campground
  • On the street
  • In an abandoned building, trailer, or other inadequate accommodations, or
  • Doubled up with friends or relatives because you cannot find or afford housing

Print, fill out, and return the applicable forms to the office.
