Congratulations to Coach Hamblin and the girls basketball team for winning back-to-back region championships. It came down to the final game of the season to determine the winner and the Titans went on the road to beat the Darts to claim the title.
The state championship brackets and final RPI have been released for boys and girls basketball.
Syracuse girls came in at #2 in the final RPI and play #15 Layton in the 2nd round of the playoffs. That game is tonight (2/19) at 7 pm at home. The winner of that game will advance to the quarterfinals next Wednesday (2/25) at 5:50 pm vs the winner of #7 Copper Hills and #10 Farmington.
Syracuse boys came in at #11 after a great regular season ending win at defending state champion Davis. The boys will take on #6 Mountain Ridge on the road tomorrow (2/20) at 7:00 pm. The winner of that game will advance to the quarterfinals next Wednesday (2/25) against the winner of #3 Bingham and #14 Riverton.
